Ammonia is a common ingredient in both commercial and DIY cleaners. Household ammonia, is really a solution of water with 5-10% ammonium hydroxide. Bulkwholesale Cloudy Ammonia is the same thing with a little soap added.
Cloudy Ammonia 5 Litre: LAUNDRY: add 1 cup (250ml) to each wash load for extra washing powder and softer rinsing. For greasy clothing 2 cups (500ml) to wash load.
WINDOWS: Add ½ cup (125mL) ammonia to ½ bucket (4L) of water.
CERAMIC TILES AND FLOORS: Add ¾ cup (187ml) of ammonia to 1 litre of lukewarm water.
OVENS: Add ¼ cup (62ml) ammonia to 3/4cup (187ml) water. Place ovenproof dish heat oven the switch off. Leave overnight and wipe out.
JEWELLERY: For gold jewellery diamonds rubies etc. Soak in or wipe on ammonia to loosen stubborn dirt. Do not use ammonia on pearls or mother of pearl.
GLASSWEAR AND CRYSTAL: Add 1 Teaspoon (5ml) of ammonia to rinse water for extra sparkle.
BRASS CHROME COPPER: Rub items with cloth dipped in ammonia rinse and polish with a soft cloth.
